Each day as a growing teen,

I realized the world is mean.

Every path I traveled diverged,

"seek the end",my mind urged.

For pain was my eternal companion,

we fought along,all through the canyon.

Oh! I was lost in the labyrinth,

Every thought pushed me deeper into it!

Solitude had engulfed me,

and cursed my perpetual decree.

Deafened by the sound of silence,

it reminded me of my defiance.

In pursuit of happiness,

tears eased my heart's heaviness.

Oh! I was lost in the labyrinth,

How I wish someone tugged my heart string!

Broken,bruised and distraught,

i gazed the path my steps fought.

Every question unanswered cried,

the moment i lied with pride.

stuck in the game destiny played,

I endlessly waited for aid.

Oh! i was lost in the labyrinth,

Should I retrace back to find a way out of it?

From dawn to dusk,up and down,

sadly not in my exquisite gown.

I stared towards the sly sky,

ready to bid goodbye.

My heartbeats were going weak,

What do I eventually seek?

Oh! I was lost in the labyrinth,

the path wasn't a bed of hyacinth.

I wish not to breathe my last solving it,

I shall emerge out,shattering all myth!!
